Spanish Onions also known as Red Onions have a higher concentration of flavonoids in the outer layers than white or yellow onions. These flavonoids help reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Red Onions also contain the brain-boosting flavonol quercetin, which helps keep memory in top condition. I'm adding more red onions to my diet!

had a crazy thought... How small could I go? While eating a handful of sweet red seedless grapes this morning, I paused to give it a try. The skin was very thick and somewhat easy to work with.
