After the 365: Galveston Seawall Hands July 2013

just can't help it ..... while riding our bikes along the Galveston Seawall, I put on the breaks when I spotted these hands. You could not miss them, being smack in the middle of the path. I noticed a bench, artistically painted with a beach scene a few feet away... colors matched. Seems to me the artist had a "playful streak" in them, as do I... why not! Sure did bring a smile to my face!

Hand #356 Hands in the Garden Flowers Blue with Blue Modern Wave

A trip to Paper Source resulted in these 2 lovely sheets of paper, measuring 30x20. Using a pen knife, I cut out hands in Garden Flowers Blue paper then placed it on top of the Blue Modern Wave paper... love the results

Hand #221 Nontoxic

Crayola markers are nontoxic and washable .... left hand colored right hand... harder than I thought it would be.... I took a chance, wondering if it would really wash off!

Happy to be back home in Florida with family, friends and visiting the beach every chance we get. My husband and I enjoy our evening walks on the beach after dinner....relaxing and peaceful...we clear our heads from the days "stuff" and talk about our dreams... hand in hand

Hand #61 Independence

Independence Day is our American national holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Popular activities include fireworks and flying our flag with pride!
In celebration, I painted my hand Red, White and Blue!
