Hand #363 The Culdesac Gift ... 3 hands in concrete today on my run through Bunker Hill

Going for distance, today I ran a relaxing 8 miles throughout the Bunker Hill area ...running a new route, always on the lookout for hands when I run neighborhoods. At the halfway point, ran down a dead end street... when I arrived at the end of the culdesac, this is what greeted me ...WoooHoooo! It seems fitting that on these final days of posting I would receive this gift of 3 hands in concrete.
Art in concrete "Hand" finds, as those of you who follow my blog know, are one of my favorite 365 posts!

Going back through 365 day Blog posts, counting today, there are 11 street hand finds:#78, #110, #138, #162, #177, #251, #259, #284, #303, #341.

Hand #251 BFF

After 4 days of rain, the sun came out today! Could hardly wait to get on my running shoes and go out to play...sunny and in the cool 60's... perfect for a 10K run (6.2 miles). I ran through several old residential neighbourhoods, new to my running route. One of the streets was slanted, had a high crown, good for water run-off but not for running. This road engineering forces me to run down the middle of the road. I was cruising along and a nice even pace... then smack in the middle of two cross roads... the intersection of Plantation Road and Cobblestone Road I met Emily and Staci. They are BFF's (Best Friends Forever). Sealing their friendship in the middle of the intersection for the world to see! I was so moved by the sight of their hand prints, I ran circles around them! Getting down on my knees, I took a closer look. For a fleeting moment I was imagining what they must have been feeling and could almost hear them giggling.
Snapping out of it...... HELLO? ~ get out of the middle of the road, I thought to myself...  quickly picking back up with my run.
When I finally returned home, I grabbed my cell phone, hopped in the car and drove back to the intersection so I could photograph for my Blog. What an AMAZING find... a beautiful gift... made my day!
