Hand #178 PEACE

While in the fabric department of a local craft store, I closed my eyes, reached into the scrap fabric bin, and selected the "surprise" fabric for this hand.
My little sewing box is lacking, along with my sewing skills. (what was I thinking!) Using saved safety pins from my racing bibs, I pinned the fabric. Cut out the pattern with dull scissors from the office desk drawer. Over the next several days I hand stitched then turned inside out with chop stick, stuffed with a shredded Swiffer Duster and added buttons for finger tips.
 ... It's done, I am now at

Hand #69 Bandages

Opened the cabinet this morning and a big box of bandages fell, scattering all over the floor. I noticed the variety of sizes and went to work creating this hand.
