Hand #178 PEACE

While in the fabric department of a local craft store, I closed my eyes, reached into the scrap fabric bin, and selected the "surprise" fabric for this hand.
My little sewing box is lacking, along with my sewing skills. (what was I thinking!) Using saved safety pins from my racing bibs, I pinned the fabric. Cut out the pattern with dull scissors from the office desk drawer. Over the next several days I hand stitched then turned inside out with chop stick, stuffed with a shredded Swiffer Duster and added buttons for finger tips.
 ... It's done, I am now at

PEACE

  1. I think it is great! Isn't it wonderful how this project expands your world? Ikea has a cute little sewing machine, you know. One followed me home here in Paris the other day. I'm happy to have it here to play with!

    1. I love this project. I'm already thinking about what I want to do for the next 365 days! (need my head examined...laughing)

    2. I've had a few insane momentary thoughts about going for 1,000 dresses.
